Our Journey

The Laxmi Lada Group evolved from an engine repair shop to an industry leader, with three generations contributing to its remarkable progress, symbolizing visionary determination and industrial excellence.

Mr. Kalgonda Patil, born in Kumboj to a farmer's family, had a keen interest in new technologies. Inspired by his sister, Smt. Laxmibai Patil, and her husband, the renowned social activist Shree Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil, Kalgonda Patil moved to Solapur and worked as a boiler operator from 1920 to 1940. In 1940, he opened his first engine repair shop in Solapur, sowing the seeds of the Laxmi Lada Group.

By 1955, his sons, Mr. Jaykumar Patil and Mr. Annasaheb Patil, joined the business. They fuelled the expansion of the enterprise by founding Laxmi Foundry in 1965, Laxmi Engineering Works in 1968, and Laxmi Hydraulics Pvt. Ltd. In 1978. New innovations led to the manufacturing of Jet Pumps in 1985 and Borewell Submersible Pumps in 1991, followed by openwell pump manufacturing in 1995. It was during this time that the group earned the recognition and reputation it has today.

Today we welcome you to two companies of Laxmi Lada group, Laxmi Pumps Pvt. Ltd. founded by Mr. Rajiv Patil in 1991, and Laxmi Drucken Komponents, founded by Mr. Sanjiv Patil in 1998.
